PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oskar Kokoshka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Madara Uchiha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kokoshka might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Baba O'Riley. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uchiha is looking to land body kicks.
Kokoshka scores with a one two! Uchiha had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Kokoshka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Uchiha as he jumps to the side.
Uchiha goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Kokoshka will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kokoshka takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Kokoshka takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Uchiha - that will leave a mark!
Uchiha throws a front kick that sends Kokoshka stumbling back into the cage.

and Uchiha takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Good leg kick by Uchiha there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Kokoshka feints a jab promting Uchiha to slip. Kokoshka then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Uchiha slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Madara Uchiha is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Kokoshka counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Kokoshka really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kokoshka's jab looks to have found its range, popping Uchiha under the eye.

Kokoshka shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Uchiha manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Uchiha working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kokoshka doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kokoshka manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Uchiha escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kokoshka gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kokoshka chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Uchiha can pounce on him.

Uchiha throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kokoshka stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kokoshka crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Uchiha - the referee stops the clock and Kokoshka gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Uchiha. Kokoshka manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
