Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kirk Boon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Menzies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boon comes to the cage accompanied by Who are you? Come on, goodbye!. Kirk Boon could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Steve Menzies's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menzies's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Menzies duly obliges.
Boon fails with a takedown attempt.
Menzies throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Boon dives in and grabs Menzies's left leg, looking for a takedown. Menzies pushes down on Boon's head and hops out.
Boon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Menzies avoids it really well and circles away.

Menzies got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Menzies has managed to get both his arms back between Boon's legs - danger averted.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Menzies throws a right and a left that both miss.
Boon has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Menzies finds it's way round the side to connect with Boon's head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Boon ducks right into an uppercut from Menzies.
Boon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Menzies tries to avoid it but Boon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Menzies to the ground. Menzies escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Boon is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Menzies is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Menzies has escaped and now he's on top!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Boon is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Menzies is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Menzies flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Boon anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Menzies and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Boon slips an arm under Menzies chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Boon has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Boon is squeezing on Menzies like an anaconda would it's prey. Menzies fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
