Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Nick Poppy!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bot misses with an uppercut. Poppy saw that one coming.
Bot tries to close the distance and clinch up but Poppy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bot comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Poppy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bot.
Poppy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bot thows a left - swing and a miss!
A big right from Poppy misses.
Bot slips under a jab.
Bot throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bot checks a leg kick.
Bot lands with a nice body punch.
Bot ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Poppy takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like Nick Poppy has been cut.
Bot misses with a straight right.

Oooooh!!! Bot has knocked Poppy down with a huge combo! Bot steps away and waves a wobbly Poppy back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Poppy is rocked!
Poppy looks winded!
Bot ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Bot throws a hook but Poppy avoids it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bot has closed the distance and engaged Poppy in a clinch.
Bot lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Bot manages to break the clinch.
Poppy does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Auto Bot is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bot is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Poppy.
Bot lands a body shot.
Bot is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Poppy's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Nice elbow from Bot.

Bot pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bot uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Poppy has time to react.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Poppy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bot swivels and escapes.
Poppy will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Bot looks to throw the jab but Poppy is out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Poppy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bot.
Bot connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Bot has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Poppy.
Poppy moves out of range as Bot strikes.
Poppy throws a leg kick but Bot moved away.
Bot ducks under a wild hook from Poppy.
Bot drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Poppy right on the button. Poppy goes down! Bot follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Bot gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Auto Bot!
Auto Bot retains his heavyweight title!
