Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from McSweeney.
Poppy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
McSweeney pushes Poppy off but Poppy dives into side control.
McSweeney tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Poppy is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. McSweeney has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Poppy has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! McSweeney taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Poppy doesn't care though - he's delighted!
