Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

There pivots, looking for a leg kick but Medley is out of range and There settles back down.

Hi There seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Medley throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Hi There has been cut.
There does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
There throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Medley uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
There steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Medley . That one must have hurt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
There takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
A punch lands to the side of There 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Medley throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

and Medley counters with a crisp right hand that drops There! Medley lets There back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

There looks up at the clock. Bad move! Medley lands a right hand from hell, dropping There. Medley pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

John Medley bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
