The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robbert keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Garcia, right into the meat.
Robbert ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Robbert shoots in but Garcia avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Robbert misses with a low kick as Garcia jumps back.
A nice leg kick lands there from Garcia.
Robbert slaps away a takedown attempt from Garcia, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Garcia looks to land a combination but Robbert avoids it well.

Garcia moves in looking to clinch but Robbert pushes him off.
Robbert keeps the fight on the outside.

Garcia takes the fight into the clinch.

Garcia lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Garcia lands a good knee to the midsection. Robbert won't want to take too many of those.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Garcia has Robbert up against the cage in a clinch.

Robbert jumps guard and drags Garcia to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Garcia has gone for a leg lock! Robbert slips out almost immediately though and dives into Garcia's guard.
Robbert has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Garcia is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Garcia is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Robbert is stalling in the full guard.
Robbert wants to stand but Garcia is controlling his posture from full guard.
Garcia is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Garcia has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Robbert should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Garcia has tightened it up now! Robbert should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
