The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Anderson. Mailov does a little dance to reset his feet.
Anderson wants to clinch
and Mailov counters with a nice body shot.
Anderson wants to clinch up but Mailov keeps it at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Anderson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mailov throws a looping overhand right but Anderson ducks down to avoid it.

and Anderson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Anderson rushes Mailov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Mailov tries to throw a body punch but Anderson avoids it by throwing Mailov back against the cage.
Anderson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mailov is defending well for now.
Mailov can't find room to land a body shot as Anderson controls the action.
The referee is keeping an eye on Anderson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Mailov lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Anderson drops Mailov with a big knee straight up the middle! Mailov is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Anderson crunches a lovely knee into Mailov's ribcage.
Anderson lands a big knee to the head and Mailov goes down! Anderson pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
