Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tarmo Uusivirta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 2Pac - All Eyes On Me. Uusivirta has chosen Moonsorrow - Huuto as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tarmo Uusivirta was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uusivirta moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Uusivirta, as that shot connected.
Uusivirta cracks Ortiz with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Uusivirta throws a leg kick
and Ortiz counters with a slapping leg kick.
Uusivirta fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Ortiz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ortiz throws a right and a left that both miss.
Uusivirta misses with a hook. Ortiz ducked under it nicely.
Ortiz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Uusivirta sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Uusivirta takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Tarmo Uusivirta has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Uusivirta fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ortiz manages to avoid it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Uusivirta. Ortiz does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ortiz moves out of range of the leg kick from Uusivirta.
Uusivirta throws a leg kick which misses Ortiz's front leg but catches the back leg as Ortiz tries to avoid it.
Uusivirta throws a leg kick that is checked
and Uusivirta takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ortiz cracks Uusivirta with a right hand to the side of the head.
Ortiz feints and then cracks Uusivirta's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Uusivirta down.

Uusivirta takes a swing at Ortiz's ribcage but misses.
Uusivirta lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Uusivirta cracks Ortiz with a good jab.

Tarmo Uusivirta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Uusivirta lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Uusivirta misses with a low kick.
Ortiz checks a leg kick.
Uusivirta misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ortiz throws a head kick that misses.
Uusivirta throws a jab when Ortiz was well out of range.
Uusivirta lands with a straight right. Ortiz didn't see that one coming.
Good leg kick by Uusivirta there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Ortiz cracks Uusivirta with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Ortiz stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Uusivirta.
Uusivirta stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Ortiz looks to land a left hand but Uusivirta moved out of range nicely.
Uusivirta fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Uusivirta throws a half hearted mid kick.
The fighters circling - Ortiz throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ortiz is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Ortiz walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Uusivirta checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Ortiz scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
That has opened up Tarmo Uusivirta's cut even more.

Uusivirta connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The fighters circle momentarily. Uusivirta darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Uusivirta finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Uusivirta lands a nice looking body shot.

Uusivirta lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Oh Ortiz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ortiz is breathing heavily.
Uusivirta chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Ortiz seems to have got his legs back now.
Uusivirta connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Uusivirta connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Ortiz! He's out on his feet! Uusivirta rushes in and drops Ortiz with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tarmo Uusivirta!
During a confident post fight interview, Tarmo Uusivirta thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
