The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leveen lands with a kick to the temple. Greco shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Leveen connects with a good right hand that stumbles Greco. Greco circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Greco looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Leveen is staying active underneath Greco, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Leveen pushes Greco off looking to stand but Greco dives back in and keeps control.
Greco thows a huge punch but Leveen dodges it nicely.

It looks like Carlo Greco has been cut.
David Leveen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Leveen moves into range and clinches up with Greco.
Greco is still on wobbly legs! Can Leveen finish him?

Leveen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Leveen has closed the distance and engaged Greco in a clinch.
Leveen creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Greco with a big uppercut! Greco tries to clinch up but Leveen pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Greco to the mat! Greco covers up and Leveen unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

After the fight, David Leveen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
