Maingain is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Alpha Male. Jimmy Amlet has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Amlet! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Maingain! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Amlet doesn't succeed with the takedown and Maingain counters with a shoot takedown. Amlet fights it but they end up in guard. Maingain looking to sit in guard and control but Amlet gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Amlet stopping the sweep attempt from Maingain. Maingain is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Maingain is looking to stand up but Amlet isn't so interested in that idea. Amlet pushes down on Maingain's leg and manages to get into half guard. Amlet is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Maingain is just riding it out for now. Amlet eventually gives up the hold. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Maingain wants to sweep but Amlet has passed to side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Amlet working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Amlet advances nicely into full mount. Amlet controlling the position easily from mount. Amlet looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Amlet with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Maingain is looking to improve his position but Amlet isn't that keen on the idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Maingain is squirming around, avoiding Amlet's attempts to control the action. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Maingain working to try and regain half guard.
Maingain wants to control but Amlet is having none of it. Amlet working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Amlet looking for a guillotine from mount but Maingain is having none of it. Maingain is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Amlet working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Maingain turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Amlet off and cradles Maingain's limp body as Amlet celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Jimmy Amlet!
