Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Scissors (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ren Rothschild (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scissors comes into the arena with Paper Cut - Linkin Park blaring out of the sound system. Rothschild has chosen Enter Shikari as his entrance music. Kyle Scissors could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ren Rothschild's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Scissors! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ren Rothschild! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scissors closes the distance and clinches up with Rothschild, looking for a takedown. Scissors pushes Rothschild against the cage but Rothschild circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Scissors catches Rothschild with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Scissors avoids the head kick by Rothschild.
Scissors swats away the attempt to clinch by Rothschild. Rothschild looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. No joy there for Scissors, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rothschild. Rothschild tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Scissors manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Rothschild circles away from the clinch attempt.
Scissors showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rothschild.
Scissors tries to clinch but Rothschild moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scissors moves into range and clinches up with Rothschild. Scissors decides to pull guard. Rothschild must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Scissors doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Scissors looking for a guillotine here but Rothschild defends easily.
Rothschild looking to improve position, pressing down on Scissors's thigh with his hand. Scissors seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Rothschild paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Rothschild's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Scissors picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
