The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentine takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Johnson with a body punch. A glancing blow.
A left and a right from Johnson both land. Nice combination.
Johnson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jerome Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson clobbers Valentine with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Johnson scores with a one two! Valentine had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Valentine misses with a straight right.
Johnson connects with a looping right hand.
Oooooh!!! Johnson has knocked Valentine down with a huge combo! Johnson steps away and waves a wobbly Valentine back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Valentine is rocked!
Valentine gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Johnson gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
