Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rmarkas Fletcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Hawking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fletcher comes into the arena with Keep on Lovin Me Baby by Colin James blaring out of the sound system. Hawking is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: One Winged Angel by The Black Mages. Rmarkas Fletcher had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.

With a record of 27 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Stephen Hawking!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fletcher looks for the body kick but Hawking saw that one coming.
The fighters circling - Fletcher throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hawking takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Hawking feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Fletcher is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Fletcher is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hawking is aware though and is defending well.

Fletcher had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hawking defends it easily.

Fletcher escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hawking gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Hawking throws a strike but Fletcher rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Fletcher is keen to just control but Hawking is a slippery customer.

Fletcher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hawking swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hawking wants to sweep here but Fletcher controlling him for the moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fletcher passes Hawking's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Hawking is staying active underneath Fletcher, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Fletcher loads up on a big right hand but Hawking slips the punch.
Hawking uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fletcher.

Fletcher throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hawking's waist but Hawking gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fletcher off to one side.
Hawking shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fletcher sprawls well. Fletcher wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hawking gets slowly back to his feet.

Fletcher throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Hawking counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Fletcher is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fletcher is looking for a sweep. Hawking is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hawking got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fletcher has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hawking has managed to get both his arms back between Fletcher's legs - danger averted.

Fletcher isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hawking stacks Fletcher on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hawking!
Rmarkas Fletcher overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Fletcher is looking to regain half guard here but Hawking keeps moving and retains side control.

Hawking scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Fletcher is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Hawking can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
