Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Martin Morales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John McManus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morales comes to the cage accompanied by ice ice baby. John McManus will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martin Morales! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John McManus! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morales darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Morales looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Morales looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. McManus tries to get to full guard but Morales has control of the leg. McManus looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McManus pushes Morales off looking to stand but Morales dives back in and keeps control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Morales perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. McManus wants to improve his position but Morales is controlling well.
Morales wants to control but McManus is keeping him busy.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Morales wants to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morales fails in his attempt to clinch. Morales fails with a takedown attempt. McManus circles away from the clinch attempt.

Morales is looking to clinch but McManus is avoiding it.
Morales clinches. Morales breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Morales tries to clinch but McManus moves out of range. Morales tries to close the distance and clinch up but McManus swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Morales moves in looking to clinch but McManus pushes him off. McManus throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Morales's waist but Morales gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McManus off to one side. Martin Morales seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Morales fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McManus sprawls well initially but Morales persists and gets the takedown into half guard. McManus is looking to control Morales's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McManus avoid being mounted? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are battling for position here. McManus manages to regain full guard. Nice work. McManus wants to stand but Morales is controlling the position. McManus keeping moving, preventing Morales from controlling successfully. McManus trying to control the position.
Morales might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Morales tries to stand but McManus is controlling from the bottom. Morales pushing down on McManus's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morales seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
McManus is looking for a sweep. Morales is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Morales wants to get back to his feet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. McManus closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McManus lands in his opponent's guard. McManus wants to pass the guard but Morales is keeping the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McManus accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. McManus distracts Morales with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. McManus wants to control from the top but Morales keeps moving. McManus is looking to stand up but Morales won't let him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McManus trying to control but Morales is working from the bottom. McManus stopping the sweep attempt from Morales. Morales is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McManus is controlling him.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. McManus throws a wild combination but nothing lands. McManus misses with the combination.
Morales is looking to clinch but McManus is avoiding it.
McManus shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. McManus passes into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Martin Morales will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Morales misses with a takedown and McManus counters with a thumping low kick. Morales tries to clinch up and McManus holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Morales wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Morales tries to score a body lock takedown but McManus shows good agility there to stay on his feet. McManus slows down the pace here.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morales falls off balance throwing a combination
and McManus counters with a nice body kick. Martin Morales is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Morales looks to clinch and McManus counters with a takedown into side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Morales tries to bench press McManus off him but McManus keeps the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. McManus is putting a hurting on Morales here, landing some big shots from side control. Morales knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McManus on the ground. McManus is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Morales knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. McManus trying to control the position but Morales is working away. Morales wants to get back to his feet but McManus drags him back down. A lull in the action here. Morales dodges the ground and pound from McManus. Morales manages to work his way to half guard, despite McManus's best efforts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McManus postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Morales to stand up. Morales tries to clinch but McManus moves away and McManus counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Morales! Morales working to try and regain half guard.
Morales looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! McManus working for a choke but Morales is defending well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Morales is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. McManus lands shots from the back. McManus is punishing Morales with strikes - can he finish him?! McManus has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Morales covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morales is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
McManus is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Morales wants to get back to his feet. McManus keeps control of the position easily here as Morales tries to buck him off.
