Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Toby Diaby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaby comes to the cage accompanied by Trying'da hold me down. Archer has chosen Predator Theme as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Archer.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Archer.
Archer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Diaby moves away.
Diaby misses with a wild body shot.
Diaby swats away the attempt to clinch by Archer.
Diaby misses with a hook
and Archer counters with a slapping leg kick.
Diaby keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Diaby shoots in for a takedown but Archer shows good takedown defense.
Diaby closes this distance looking for a takedown but Archer circles away.
Archer gets caught flat footed, as Diaby shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Diaby wants to pass the guard but Archer is keeping the position.
Diaby lands a couple of elbows.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Archer throws a front kick that sends Diaby stumbling back into the cage.
Archer moves to clinch but Diaby breaks away
and Diaby counters with a stiff right hand.
Diaby misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Archer.
Diaby misses the jab.
Archer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Diaby has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A telegraphed right hand from Diaby misses the target.

Diaby shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Archer pinned against the cage. Archer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Toby Diaby. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A thudding body kick lands there by Archer!
Archer tests Diaby's chin there with a solid looking shot.

A solid leg kick lands there for Archer.
Archer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Diaby manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Archer takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A shot to the liver by Archer. Beautiful body shot.
Archer defending well as Diaby loads up on a big left hand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Archer digs a good hook to Diaby's body.
Archer takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mason Archer will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Archer keeps Diaby at a distance using the push kick.
Archer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Diaby looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Archer jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Diaby looks to throw the jab but Archer is out of range.
Diaby throws a body punch but Archer moves out of range.
Diaby misses with a looping left.
Archer misses with a low kick.
Archer is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Archer stuffs the takedown attempt from Diaby. Diaby gets slowly back to his feet.
Archer is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Diaby rather than just go for the knockout.
Diaby avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Diaby shoots in for a takedown but Archer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Diaby checks a leg kick.

Diaby is pushing Archer up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Diaby goes for a takedown attempt but Archer pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Archer bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Diaby's head backwards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Diaby stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Archer.
Archer throws a body punch but Diaby moves out of range.
Mason Archer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Archer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Archer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Diaby is looking to pass into half guard but Archer pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Archer is in guard.
Archer has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Diaby is proving hard to escape from.
Archer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Mason Archer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Diaby shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
