Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hayden Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocco Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Green wants to sweep but no luck.

Green is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Silva is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Silva throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Green bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silva's guard.
Green has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Silva manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Silva moves in looking to clinch but Green pushes him off.

Silva shoots in and bounces Green off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Green looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Silva has picked Green up and slammed him! Green can't keep hold of the triangle and Silva manages to pass to side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Green tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Silva presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Green has left one of his arms exposed and Silva doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Green screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
