The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hirohito shoots in looking for a takedown. Toboggan tries to sprawl out of it but Hirohito keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Toboggan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Toboggan throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Nice body punch from Toboggan.
Hirohito looks winded!
Toboggan lands a high kick!
Toboggan punishes Hirohito's body with a nice straight punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hirohito misses with a takedown
and Toboggan counters with a left and a right that stings Hirohito.
Toboggan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hirohito takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hirohito is rocked!
Toboggan cracks Hirohito with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Hirohito falls to his knees and Toboggan doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mantis Toboggan!
Mantis Toboggan decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
