Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ty Jedi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sander Salvatore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sander Salvatore has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ty Jedi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salvatore avoids the head kick by Jedi.
Jedi gets caught napping as Salvatore dives in and scores a takedown. Jedi manages to retain guard.
Jedi looking for subs off his back but Salvatore has passed one foot through into half guard.
Salvatore is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Salvatore is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Salvatore trying to mount his opponent but Jedi defends it.
Salvatore takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Salvatore is looking to advance position but Jedi won't allow it.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sander Salvatore wasn't active enough on the ground.
Salvatore throws a leg kick but Jedi checks it.
Ty Jedi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Salvatore finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Jedi goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Ty Jedi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jedi misses with a wild combination.
Salvatore shoots in looking for a takedown. Jedi tries to sprawl out of it but Salvatore keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jedi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Salvatore closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jedi to the mat! Jedi manages to get full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jedi looking for a guillotine here but Salvatore defends easily.
Salvatore chips away with some ground and pound.
Jedi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Salvatore defends it easily.
Jedi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Salvatore doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Salvatore manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Salvatore got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jedi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Salvatore has managed to get both his arms back between Jedi's legs - danger averted.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Salvatore wants to control from the top but Jedi keeps moving.
Jedi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Salvatore is aware though and is defending well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Salvatore with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Jedi isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Salvatore stacks Jedi on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Salvatore!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jedi manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Jedi is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

A close round but Sander Salvatore will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jedi throws the left hand but Salvatore avoids the punch easily.
Jedi missing with a left hand there. Salvatore was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ty Jedi will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Salvatore doesn't manage to clinch there - Jedi circles away.

Jedi tries to bum rush Salvatore with a series of wild strikes but Salvatore uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Salvatore closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jedi circles away.
Jedi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Salvatore changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jedi tries to avoid it but Salvatore manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jedi to the ground. Jedi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ty Jedi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sander Salvatore.

Jedi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Salvatore.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Jedi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Salvatore was well out of range. Poor timing from Jedi.

Jedi fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Jedi feints and then cracks Salvatore's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Salvatore down.
Salvatore throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jedi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Salvatore is in Jedi's guard.
