Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tero Taikina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Blur - Song 2. The crowd seem to be enjoying Taikina's choice of entrance music: Cookie song. Tero Taikina is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Tero Taikina!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taikina looks to throw the jab but King is out of range.
King tries to clinch but Taikina is having none of it.
King shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
King looks to land a combination. Taikina sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Some bone on bone action there as Taikina checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Taikina misses with a straight left.
Taikina shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
King taking some punishment here, with Taikina in his half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Taikina not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Taikina misses with a head shot. King uses the momentum to regain guard.
Taikina wants to control from the top but King keeps moving.

Taikina looking to pass the guard.
Taikina throws a strike but King rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Taikina looking for a guillotine here but King defends easily.
Taikina trying to keep a closed guard but King is proving a slippery customer.
Taikina avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Taikina not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Taikina strikes from his own guard.
Taikina wants to sweep here but King controlling him for the moment.
Taikina has his foot on King's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. King works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
King is posturing up here but Taikina has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! King tries to roll out but it's too tight and King has to tap! Slick submission there by Taikina!
