Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sevak Magakian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riad Belhanda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magakian kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sevak Magakian Highlights. Sevak Magakian could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Riad Belhanda's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Riad Belhanda!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magakian drops Belhanda with a left right combo! Magakian follows him down to the ground into side control.
It looks like Riad Belhanda has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Magakian in the domination position with Belhanda hanging on.
Magakian wants to control but Belhanda is keeping him busy.
Belhanda wants to control but Magakian postures up.
Belhanda is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Magakian's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Magakian wants to stand up but Belhanda is controlling the position.

Belhanda is trying to maintain the position but Magakian is very close to passing his half guard.

Magakian wants to stand up but Belhanda has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Magakian seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Belhanda does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Magakian tries to stand and escape but Belhanda is controlling the position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Sevak Magakian just wasn't active enough.
Belhanda punishes Magakian's body with a nice straight punch.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Magakian crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Belhanda - the referee stops the clock and Magakian gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Belhanda. Magakian manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Magakian uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Belhanda.
Magakian is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Magakian tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Belhanda paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Magakian shoots in for a takedown but Belhanda shows good takedown defense.
Sevak Magakian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Belhanda misses the jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Magakian closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Magakian changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Belhanda fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A jab from Belhanda finds it's way through Magakian's defenses.
Belhanda dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Magakian. That did some damage!
Belhanda fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Magakian is rocked!
Magakian takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Oh Magakian is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Belhanda misses with a head kick.
Belhanda connects with a jab.
Belhanda connects with a solid leg kick.
Belhanda explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Magakian is breathing heavily.
Belhanda and Magakian are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Belhanda throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Magakian into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Belhanda knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Riad Belhanda!
