Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wandy Wandeco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and So Hai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wandeco's entrance music is Sandstorm. A fine choice. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wandeco tries to close the distance and clinch but Hai swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hai fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Wandeco checks it well.

and Hai counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hai.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Hai wants to control from the top but Wandeco keeps moving.
Hai sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wandeco's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hai looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Wandeco covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

After winning the bout, So Hai thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
