Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Pierre Hennard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mateusz Dowdak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dowdak with a poor takedown
and Hennard counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dowdak won't be happy with that.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Hennard is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dowdak knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Hennard tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Dowdak gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Hennard is looking to work his way around to Dowdak's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
Hennard is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Dowdak can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Hennard is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Dowdak has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Dowdak!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hennard drops back looking for a leg! Dowdak is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dowdak manages to kick Hennard off! Hennard jumps back into Dowdak's guard.
Hennard thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hennard might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hennard is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
