Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Otto Jokinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is La Roux - In For The Kill. Jokinen has chosen Marilyn Manson - Sweet Dreams as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Jokinen.
Carter tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jokinen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mike Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jokinen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jokinen fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Carter is out of range.

Jokinen connects with a good right hand that stumbles Carter. Carter circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Jokinen in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

A relieved looking Otto Jokinen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
