The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Gracie looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gracie shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Krocodil manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Gracie won't allow Krocodil to get back to his feet.
Gracie is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Krocodil looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Gracie passes Krocodil's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Gracie has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Krocodil tries to lock up and control but Gracie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Gracie looking to control but Krocodil is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Gracie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Krocodil is looking to escape.
Gracie is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Gracie extends the arm and Krocodil is forced to tap!
