Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Petr Petrovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esko Morko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petrovich's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Soviet Anthem. Morko is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Arch Enemy - Nemesis. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrovich stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Petrovich rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Morko moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Petrovich shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Morko but Morko pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Petrovich misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Morko lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Petrovich sprawling to the canvas. Morko follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Petrovich hang on?

Petrovich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Morko swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Petrovich throws a series of punches but Morko avoids them all with ease.
Esko Morko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Petrovich swings and misses with a hook to the body.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Morko drops back looking for a leg! Petrovich is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Petrovich manages to kick Morko off! Morko jumps back into Petrovich's guard.

Petrovich wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Morko keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Petrovich's head.
