Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hans Bornemann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Mcinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcinen has chosen Korn - Right Now as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hans Bornemann ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jake Mcinen! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bornemann shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Bornemann shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mcinen pinned against the cage. Mcinen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bornemann shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mcinen as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hans Bornemann . That's going to take a lot out of him. Mcinen clinches with his opponent.
Mcinen lands on the inside with an uppercut. Mcinen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bornemann closes the distance and clinches up with Mcinen, looking for a takedown. Bornemann pushes Mcinen against the cage but Mcinen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bornemann doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bornemann manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mcinen is looking to stand up but Bornemann isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcinen trying to keep a closed guard but Bornemann is proving a slippery customer.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bornemann showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mcinen.
Hans Bornemann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mcinen throws a low kick but it's checked well by Bornemann .
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mcinen swinging wilding here.
Bornemann drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Mcinen tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bornemann trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Mcinen manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Mcinen is looking to stand up but Bornemann won't let him. Bornemann throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Mcinen escapes and throws Bornemann 's legs to the side, diving into side control! Bornemann is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Mcinen trying to control the action but Bornemann is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bornemann tries to improve position but can't. Mcinen decides to stand back up. Bornemann with a poor takedown and Mcinen counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Bornemann misses with a takedown attempt and Mcinen counters by moving into the clinch. Bornemann is breathing heavily. Good body shot from Mcinen.
Mcinen works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bornemann is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mcinen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mcinen's back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Mcinen dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bornemann fails with the takedown and Mcinen counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mcinen. Bornemann tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mcinen just stands there and leans against the cage. Mcinen controlling the action here for a moment.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hans Bornemann . That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bornemann can't get the takedown.
The is referee keeping an eye on Mcinen - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bornemann gets back to full guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bornemann throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Mcinen escapes and throws Bornemann 's legs to the side, diving into side control! Mcinen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bornemann keeps working. Bornemann is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Bornemann is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Mcinen off and has taken his back!

Mcinen trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Bornemann is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Bornemann is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Mcinen reverses the position - he's now on top in Bornemann 's guard. Mcinen preventing the sweep. Mcinen trying to control but Bornemann is working from the bottom. Mcinen might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bornemann kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Bornemann regains half guard. Mcinen throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Bornemann works his way to full guard. Good work. Bornemann is looking for a triangle here but Mcinen uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hans Bornemann will probably get the nod. That's time! Bornemann 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Bornemann misses with a takedown attempt and Mcinen counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Bornemann moves out of range as Mcinen strikes. Bornemann doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mcinen counters with a nice double leg into guard. Mcinen slips nicely into half guard. Mcinen stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Bornemann shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mcinen's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mcinen throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Mcinen wants to stand up but Bornemann is controlling him. Mcinen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bornemann is one step ahead there. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcinen controls Bornemann momentarily but Bornemann frees himself. Bornemann tries to free his leg and advance position but Mcinen is retaining full guard. Bornemann is working hard here to advance position. Bornemann drops back looking for a leg! Mcinen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mcinen manages to kick Bornemann off! Bornemann jumps back into Mcinen's guard. Bornemann pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mcinen is keeping the position for now.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
