Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Guilherme Fonseca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chris Hardy!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fonseca shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hardy's guard.
Fonseca has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Hardy is trying to keep Fonseca in close.
Fonseca wanted to stand there but Hardy had control of the position.

Hardy lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hardy connects with a right hand. Fonseca shakes it off.
Fonseca needs to keep his hands up - Hardy had a free shot at his head there.
Hardy misses with a jab to the body
and Fonseca counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Hardy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fonseca can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Fonseca got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hardy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fonseca has managed to get both his arms back between Hardy's legs - danger averted.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fonseca, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
