Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Kendall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George DeLuca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kendall comes to the cage accompanied by Kool Moe Dee - I Go To Work. DeLuca has chosen Crying like a Bitch as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that George DeLuca was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, George DeLuca! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DeLuca tries to clinch enabling Kendall to counter with a crisp jab. DeLuca tries to clinch but Kendall moves out of range. DeLuca tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kendall manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. That was a close round but I would say that Kurt Kendall will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Kendall throws a hook to the side of DeLuca's head but DeLuca sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. DeLuca tries to clinch up but Kendall circles away and keeps his distance. DeLuca gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Both fighters working to control the clinch. DeLuca tries to circle away but Kendall has him pinned against the cage. Kendall blocks an elbow strike from DeLuca.

Kendall lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. DeLuca fails with an attempt to clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! George DeLuca comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well DeLuca has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

George DeLuca decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
