Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luka Jagatic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luka Jagatic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Khan!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Khan lands in his opponent's guard.
Jagatic looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Khan is stalling in the full guard.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. John Khan wasn't active enough on the ground.
Khan lands a left and a right that send Jagatic crashing to the mat, dazed. Khan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Luka Jagatic has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Khan scores with a hook to the body. Jagatic takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Khan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Khan decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Khan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Khan cracks Jagatic with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Khan has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jagatic to stand back up!
Jagatic is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jagatic gets caught flat footed, as Khan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Oh Jagatic is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Khan advances position into side control!

Khan has hold of Jagatic's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Jagatic tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Khan cranks the arm and Jagatic screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jagatic, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). John Khan!
In his post fight interview, John Khan gave a big smile as he said 'I feel amazing,I trained so hard'.
