Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mason Terell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Crappler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mason Terell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, King Crappler!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crappler scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Crappler wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Terell, who protects the arm well.
The ground and pound from Crappler seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Terell is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Crappler off and has taken his back!
Terell has Crappler flattened out and is raining down punches.
Terell throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crappler manages to reverse the position and now he's in Terell's guard. Nice work there by Crappler.
Terell is trying to keep Crappler in close.
Crappler wants to control from the top but Terell keeps moving.
Terell looking for a sweep. Not yet Terell, not yet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Crappler throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

The fighters circle momentarily. Terell darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.


It looks like King Crappler has been cut.

King Crappler is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Terell tries to clinch but Crappler moves out of range.
Crappler stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Terell.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Terell decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Crappler is trying to maintain the position but Terell is very close to passing his half guard.

Terell is really struggling to control Crappler but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Crappler has his foot on Terell's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Terell works his way back into a safe position though.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Terell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Terell fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Crappler sprawls well initially but Terell persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Crappler shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Terell sprawls well. Terell wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Crappler gets slowly back to his feet.
Mason Terell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Crappler.

Crappler has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Terell is trying to keep an underhook but Crappler manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mason Terell.
Well Terell has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
