Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brayden Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee has chosen In The Morning as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paulo Alvarez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brayden Lee! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alvarez has his takedown stuffed and Lee counters with a two punch combo. Alvarez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Alvarez throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lee tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Alvarez is in Lee's guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Alvarez is looking to work some ground and pound but Lee has wrist control. Alvarez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Lee pulls Alvarez in to control the position. Alvarez is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Alvarez works over Lee with some ground and pound from guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! It looks like Paulo Alvarez has been cut. Alvarez changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lee fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Alvarez pushes Lee against the cage but Lee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Lee takes a swing at Alvarez's ribcage but misses. Alvarez misses with a takedown attempt - Lee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alvarez closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lee quickly recovers to half guard. Alvarez tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lee knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Alvarez sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lee defending well though. Alvarez slows the pace down in half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lee is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Lee manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Alvarez prevents Lee from getting back to his feet. Alvarez showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Lee keeping moving, preventing Alvarez from controlling successfully. Alvarez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Alvarez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Alvarez is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Alvarez with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Alvarez wants to pass the guard but Lee is keeping the position. Lee looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Alvarez distracts Lee with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Alvarez connects with a couple of short punches. Alvarez trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Alvarez is looking to work some ground and pound but Lee has wrist control. Lee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lee not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Alvarez postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A big right from Lee misses. Alvarez shoots in but Lee avoids the takedown attempt easily. Alvarez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lee leaves Alvarez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Lee scores with a jab to the body. Lee thuds his right hand into Alvarez's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Alvarez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lee. Paulo Alvarez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lee cracks Alvarez with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Lee scores with a jab. Alvarez swats away the attempt to clinch by Lee.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee feints and then cracks Alvarez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Alvarez down. Lee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Alvarez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Lee smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Brayden Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Lee misses with a shot to the body and Alvarez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lee's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lee seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Paulo Alvarez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Alvarez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard. Alvarez trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lee had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Alvarez defends it easily. Alvarez throws a big right hand that misses.

Lee is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Alvarez is aware though and is defending well. Lee keeping moving, preventing Alvarez from controlling successfully. Alvarez is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lee is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Alvarez in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Lee wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Let's hope that Lee has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Alvarez trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Alvarez uses his free foot to push down on Lee's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lee. Alvarez wants to control the pace but Lee is squirming around nicely. Lee wants to control but Alvarez is having none of it. Lee is trying to escape the mount.

This has been an exciting period of action! Lee is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Alvarez scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Lee?

Alvarez shoots in but no luck this time. Lee lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Alvarez shoots in and drives through. Lee sprawls well. Alvarez takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lee, as that shot connected.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Paulo Alvarez's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Brayden Lee! Our winner, Brayden Lee, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
