Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rockem Sockem! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Buakaw Banchamek! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banchamek plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Banchamek throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. No joy there for Banchamek, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rockem Sockem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sockem lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Banchamek circles away quickly and effectively. Sockem explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. A head kick misses from Sockem. Sockem pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Banchamek back to the ropes. Sockem follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Sockem stalks Banchamek and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Banchamek's face. Banchamek staggers backwards, shaken. Sockem throws a head kick but Banchamek moves out of range.

Sockem is trying to break the clinch but Banchamek is controlling him. Sockem's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. This has been an exciting period of action! Sockem bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Banchamek blocks a head kick by Sockem.

Sockem darts in and clinches Banchamek up against the ropes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Banchamek with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Sockem is trying to break free. Sockem slowing the pace effectively. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rockem Sockem dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sockem lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Banchamek keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Sockem's efforts to push away. Banchamek creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Banchamek pushes off an throws an elbow but Sockem leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes. Sockem breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sockem scores with a head kick. Banchamek tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Sockem connects with a right hand. Banchamek shakes it off. Rockem Sockem is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sockem connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Banchamek's hands. Banchamek is breathing heavily. Sockem moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Banchamek is rocked! Sockem lands a right and a left and another right! Banchamek goes down! Oh, he's in big, big trouble! 3,4,5,6,7,8... he's up to one knee... 9,10! He can't beat the count - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Rockem Sockem! Rockem Sockem spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
