Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Gryphen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Enki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Master Enki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Forrest Gryphen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Master Enki!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gryphen misses with a double jab
and Enki counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Forrest Gryphen has been cut.
Gryphen on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Gryphen fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Enki is out of range.
Enki lands a nice hook to Gryphen's body. Gryphen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A punch combination from Enki misses.
A jab lands there for Enki.
Enki's corner calls for a 1-2. Enki obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Gryphen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Enki circles away quickly and effectively.

Enki lands with a straight right. Gryphen didn't see that one coming.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Enki swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Enki throws a series of punches but Gryphen moves out of range.
Gryphen throws a body kick that misses
and Enki makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Gryphen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Enki moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gryphen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Enki.

Enki fails to land with a series of punches.

Gryphen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gryphen lands in his opponent's guard.
Enki can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gryphen controls the pace.

Enki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gryphen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Enki not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gryphen wants to control from the top but Enki keeps moving.
Enki is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Forrest Gryphen wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Enki scores with a jab to the head.
Enki feints and then cracks Gryphen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gryphen down.
Enki misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gryphen throws a right and a left that Enki avoids nicely.
Gryphen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Enki. That did some damage!
Enki scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Gryphen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gryphen tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Gryphen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Enki looks to land a left hand but Gryphen moved out of range nicely.

and Enki counters with a left to the body.

Enki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gryphen is fending him off so far but Enki persists. Nope, Gryphen circles away and we're back to standing.

Enki lands with a good body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Enki connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Forrest Gryphen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gryphen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Enki is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Gryphen had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Enki fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Master Enki dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Forrest Gryphen's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Enki swinging wildly here.
Enki smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Enki throws a right and a left that Gryphen avoids nicely.
Enki takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Enki fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Gryphen throws a wild body kick that Enki sees coming a mile off.
Gryphen tried to score with a low kick but Enki checks it.
Gryphen moves out of range as Enki strikes.
A punch lands to the side of Enki 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Gryphen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Enki shoots in looking for a takedown but Gryphen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Enki's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Gryphen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Enki counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Gryphen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Enki fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Enki misses with a looping left.
Gryphen tries a low kick but Enki avoids it.
Gryphen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Enki is pulling down on Gryphen's head. It's preventing any offense from Gryphen, at least for the moment.
Enki looking for a guillotine here but Gryphen defends easily.
Enki has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gryphen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Enki keeping moving, preventing Gryphen from controlling successfully.
Gryphen is really struggling to control Enki but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Enki looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Gryphen is defending well. Enki quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Gryphen has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Enki celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
