Fire comes to the cage accompanied by Skrillex - Ruffneck. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frankie Fire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luke Summers!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fire drives through and clinches with Summers against the cage.

Fire manages to break the clinch.

Fire closes the distance and pushes Summers back into the cage.
Fire stops a takedown attempt from Summers.
Fire lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Fire manages to break the clinch.

Fire rushes Summers and presses him up against the cage.
Summers is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Summers is looking to take this one to the mat.
Frankie Fire has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luke Summers.

Fire's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fire connects with a body shot that sends Summers's belly button to the back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fire lands with an uppercut that bounces Summers off the cage and back into range.


It looks like Luke Summers has been cut.

Fire cracks Summers with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Summers looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Fire finish him?


Summers is rocked!
Fire doesn't manage to clinch there - Summers circles away.
Summers is still on wobbly legs! Can Fire finish him?
Fire wants to clinch up but Summers keeps it at a distance.
Summers seems to have recovered his senses.

Summers gets tackled into the cage by Fire. Fire maintains the clinch.

Fire breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fire fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Summers looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Summers shoots in but no luck this time.
Summers looks winded!

Fire forces Summers back against the cage and clinches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fire lands with a light punch inside.
The referee calls for Fire to work.

Fire pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fire on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
OH! Summers has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Fire smells blood and charges in for the finish! Fire unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Summers sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Frankie Fire!
Frankie Fire was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
