The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Freeman has Alves Dutra up against the cage in a clinch.
Freeman manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Freeman lands a hook that snaps the head of Alves Dutra backwards.

Freeman wants to clinch up but Alves Dutra keeps it at a distance.
Freeman tries to clinch but Alves Dutra moves out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Freeman circles away from the clinch attempt.
Alves Dutra shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Freeman as he jumps to the side.

Freeman's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Alves Dutra is trying to pull guard but Freeman turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Freeman takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Alves Dutra is rocked!
Freeman pushes Alves Dutra against the cage. Freeman is working some dirty boxing. Freeman pushes off with a quick right hook! Alves Dutra goes down! Alves Dutra tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Freeman moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

A relieved looking Gordon Freeman thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
