Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Taylor Stram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ville Galle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Taylor Stram! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ville Galle! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Steve Montenegro and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Galle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stram but Stram pushes him off and we're back to square one. Stram blocks a head kick by Galle.
Galle thows a body shot but no joy. Stram looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Galle manages to get to full guard.

Stram stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Galle swivels though and keeps the full guard. Galle has a loose triangle. Stram is looking to work some ground and pound but Galle has wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stram lands a couple of elbows. Stram postures up in Galle's guard and throws a big left but Galle blocks it. Stram postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Stram drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Galle dives on top into guard. Galle controlling from the top position. Stram gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Galle makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Stram shoots in for a takedown but Galle shows good takedown defense. Stram shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Galle defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Taylor Stram. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stram darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Galle bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stram's guard. Stram lands a good elbow from the bottom. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stram wants to control but Galle passes easily into half guard.

A close round but Ville Galle will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Stram shoots and misses and Galle counters with a nice double leg into guard. Galle is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Stram keeping moving, preventing Galle from controlling successfully. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stram is on top in guard.
Ville Galle has got the better of the ground game so far. Galle is trying to control the position but Stram postures up.

Galle tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stram swats him away and circles back towards the center. Galle fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stram, pushing him back against the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stram is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Galle gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Galle jumps back into Stram's guard. Galle lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Stram looking for a guillotine here but Galle defends easily.
Galle slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Galle scoring with punches and elbows.

And that's the end of the fight! Ville Galle comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Galle has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
