Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dum Tweetle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Sharp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Dum Tweetle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Carl Sharp!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tweetle fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sharp checks it well.
Sharp should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Sharp gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Sharp keeping full guard, as Tweetle tries to pass.

Sharp is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tweetle defends well.
Tweetle trying to control but Sharp is working from the bottom.
Sharp is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tweetle is controlling him.

Sharp has a closed guard, preventing Tweetle from standing up.
Tweetle slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Sharp can't do much from the bottom here.
Tweetle trying to control the action but Sharp is working from the bottom.

Sharp throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
A looping hook to the body misses from Sharp. Tweetle does a little dance to reset his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tweetle looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tweetle avoids the body shot from Sharp.
Sharp cracks a nice hook into Tweetle's ribs.

Sharp throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tweetle tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sharp is in Tweetle's guard.
Sharp trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Sharp trying to control but Tweetle is working from the bottom.
Tweetle is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tweetle keeping full guard, as Sharp tries to pass.
Tweetle is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Sharp fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tweetle manages to avoid it.

Tweetle doesn't manage to clinch there - Sharp circles away.
Sharp throws a hook to the side of Tweetle's head but Tweetle sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sharp throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Tweetle moves into the clinch.

Tweetle pulls guard successfully.
Tweetle is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Sharp trying to control but Tweetle is working from the bottom.
Sharp is looking to work some ground and pound but Tweetle has wrist control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sharp tries to free his leg and advance position but Tweetle is retaining full guard.

That's five minutes gone in the round.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dum Tweetle.
Tweetle is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sharp will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tweetle misses with a kick to the body.
Tweetle fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sharp throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tweetle looks for a takedown but Sharp sprawls well.
Tweetle moves forwards but Sharp connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Tweetle tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Sharp manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tweetle throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tweetle tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sharp swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dum Tweetle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tweetle throws a leg kick but Sharp sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Sharp throws a series of punches but Tweetle moves out of range.
Tweetle avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Sharp!
Sharp ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sharp looks to land a combination but Tweetle avoids it well.
The fighters circling - Sharp throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Tweetle defending well as Sharp loads up on a big left hand.
Sharp swings for the body but Tweetle moves out of range.
Tweetle tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Tweetle misses with a head kick.
Sharp fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tweetle manages to avoid it.
Sharp looks to throw the jab but Tweetle is out of range.
A combination from Tweetle does no damage.

Tweetle clinches.

Sharp ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sharp no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Tweetle passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Tweetle working away.

Sharp is looking to get back to his feet here but Tweetle is keeping cool and he's managed to take Sharp's back.
Sharp wants to escape the position but for the time being he's just trying to control the pace.
Tweetle tries to keep control of the position but Sharp is staying busy.
Sharp tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Tweetle goes for an armbar but Sharp turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Sharp.
Sharp won't allow Tweetle to sweep him here.

Sharp is looking to advance position but Tweetle has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Tweetle trying to control but Sharp is having none of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sharp wants to try and get back to his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Carl Sharp.
I think Sharp has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
