Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Umberto Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Lloyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lloyd's choice of entrance music: Hank Williams Sr - Ramblin Man. Ray Lloyd is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duran scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lloyd doesn't seem bothered though.

That kick from Duran tenderised Lloyd's leg. Lloyd is trying to keep his angry face on.

Duran fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lloyd manages to avoid it.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lloyd lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Duran has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Duran and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Lloyd throws a leg kick which misses Duran's front leg but catches the back leg as Duran tries to avoid it.

Lloyd shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Duran regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Lloyd.
Ray Lloyd has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lloyd stands up over Duran, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Lloyd drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Duran dives on top into guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lloyd is working for a guillotine from mount but Duran frees his head quite easily.

Lloyd is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Duran has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Duran!
