Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vivrant Thang!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black looks to score with a jab to the body but Thang is just out of range.
Black throws a low kick but Thang moves out of range easily.
Thang looks for a takedown but Black sprawls well.
Thang throws a shot from downtown. Black moves away and avoids it.
Thang tries for a takedown but Black sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Donk. Thang catches Black right on the button with a cross.
Thang fails with the takedown.
Lucuis Black has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vivrant Thang.
Thang gets a double leg takedown into Black's guard.
Thang slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Thang working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Black wants to control but Thang postures up.
Thang tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Black tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Thang wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thang looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Thang has hold of Black's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Black seems comfortable defending it but Thang has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Black is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Black is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Thang couldn't care less - he's delighted!
