Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Grettis Ghost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lange Angelus!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angelus has a takedown stuffed.
Angelus will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ghost rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Angelus moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Oooooh!!! Ghost has knocked Angelus down with a huge combo! Ghost steps away and waves a wobbly Angelus back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Lange Angelus has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Angelus chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ghost can pounce on him.

Ghost has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Angelus is working away from the top position though.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Grettis Ghost wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Angelus shoots in for a takedown but Ghost shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Angelus avoids the elbow strike from Ghost, against the cage.
Angelus has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ghost is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Grettis Ghost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lange Angelus.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Ghost just misses with a elbow thrown towards Angelus's brow.

Ghost moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Ghost and Angelus are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Ghost throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Angelus into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Ghost knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
