Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timur Rod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hana Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hana Quinn looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 17 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Timur Rod! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hana Quinn! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rod tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Quinn looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Quinn has a takedown stuffed. Rod fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Quinn avoids it really well and circles away. Rod throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Quinn's waist but Quinn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rod off to one side. Quinn misses with an uppercut. Quinn tries to keep at a distance but Rod has taken the fight into the clinch. Rod looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Rod breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rod moves into the clinch. Rod jumps guard but Quinn turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Timur Rod. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rod manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Rod is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Rod keeping moving, preventing Quinn from controlling successfully. Rod wants to control but Quinn passes easily into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quinn takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Hana Quinn hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Quinn misses with a body shot.
Rod throws a right hand that Quinn ducks under and follows up with a left that Quinn also avoids with ease.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rod fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rod lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Quinn has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Rod is looking to clinch. Rod shoots in for a double leg but Quinn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Rod lands with a nice body punch. Rod moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Rod gets the takedown into side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Quinn is looking for a sweep. Quinn wants to control but Rod postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quinn manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Quinn wants to get back to full guard. Ground and pound from Rod. Quinn is refusing to be controlled, as Rod sits in half guard. Quinn wants to get back to his feet. Quinn wants to improve his position but Rod is controlling well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Quinn keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rod is fighting off a takedown attempt but Quinn is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Rod to the mat. Rod regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Rod looking to hit a scissor sweep but Quinn is one step ahead there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Quinn in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Rod knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Quinn on the ground. Rod seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Quinn throws an elbow that misses. Rod uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Quinn's guard. Nice move by Rod! Rod has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Quinn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rod is one step ahead there.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rod wants to clinch up but Quinn keeps it at a distance. Rod moves in looking to clinch but Quinn pushes him off.

Quinn takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. The fight stays on the outside here - Rod looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rod lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Hana Quinn has been cut. Rod throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Rod shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Quinn as he avoids it easily. Rod plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Rod fails in his attempt to clinch. Rod tries to clinch but Quinn moves out of range. Quinn slips a jab and a cross from Rod.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rod is defended easily by Quinn. Quinn tries to clinch but Rod moves out of range. Quinn avoids the head kick by Rod.

Rod closes the distance and lands a one-two. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rod shoots in looking for a takedown. Quinn tries to sprawl out of it but Rod keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Quinn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rod gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Quinn to score an easy takedown into full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Timur Rod will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Hana Quinn's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Timur Rod is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Rod tries to bench press Quinn off him but Quinn keeps the position.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Hana Quinn. I think Rod has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
