Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcel Muller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joao Da Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Muller does no damage.
Muller misses with a combination

and Da Souza counters with a nice double leg into side control. Muller won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Muller takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Da Souza in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Muller tries to escape but Da Souza is in control.
Muller trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Muller gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Da Souza seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Muller tries to kick Da Souza off but Da Souza keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Da Souza lands a big elbow - Muller is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Da Souza!
