Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Serj Wunderkind (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milad Yakubi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wunderkind's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rollin'. Yakubi has chosen Panjabi MC Feat. Jay Z - Beware as his entrance music. Serj Wunderkind has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Milad Yakubi!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, David Schapiro and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wunderkind bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Yakubi shoots in and gets a takedown into Wunderkind's guard.
Yakubi won't allow Wunderkind to sweep him here.
Wunderkind lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Yakubi!
Yakubi is looking to improve his position but Wunderkind isn't that keen on the idea.

Yakubi is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Wunderkind thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Yakubi wants to control but Wunderkind is having none of it.
Yakubi is desperately trying to improve his position but Wunderkind has a good base and remains in mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wunderkind takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Wunderkind not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref stands the fighters back up because Serj Wunderkind just wasn't active enough.
Wunderkind throws a front kick aimed at Yakubi's knee but Yakubi avoids it well.
Wunderkind missing with a left hand there. Yakubi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wunderkind tries a low kick but Yakubi avoids it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Yakubi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Wunderkind, right into the meat.
Yakubi shoots in looking for a takedown but Wunderkind manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Yakubi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Yakubi connects with a body shot that sends Wunderkind's belly button to the back.
Wunderkind has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Yakubi.
Milad Yakubi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Both fighters circling a little - Wunderkind finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Yakubi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Wunderkind counters with a straight right hand.
Yakubi takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Wunderkind wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Yakubi takes one to the chin there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Yakubi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wunderkind as he avoids it easily.

Serj Wunderkind has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Milad Yakubi.
Wunderkind bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Yakubi's head backwards.
Wunderkind buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Wunderkind wants to clinch up but Yakubi keeps it at a distance.
Wunderkind tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yakubi swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Yakubi is breathing heavily.
Wunderkind cracks the inside of Yakubi's front leg.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Yakubi tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Wunderkind is looking to clinch but Yakubi is avoiding it.

Wunderkind lands a leg kick that knocks Yakubi off balance momentarily.
Wunderkind lands a nice looking kick to the body. Yakubi takes a step back to recover.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Wunderkind - that will leave a mark!
Yakubi has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Wunderkind.
Wunderkind turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Yakubi's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Wunderkind pushes Yakubi away with a front kick.
Yakubi on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Wunderkind connects with an inside leg kick.
Serj Wunderkind is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wunderkind scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Wunderkind throws a series of punches but Yakubi moves out of range.
Wunderkind lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

and Wunderkind counters with a straight right hand.

Wunderkind clinches with his opponent.
Wunderkind tries to land knees in the clinch but Yakubi avoids the damage to the body.
Yakubi tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wunderkind smiles and moves away.

Wunderkind lands a big head kick that sends Yakubi tumbling to the mat! Wunderkind takes a step backwards and waves Yakubi back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Milad Yakubi has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wunderkind feints a jab and as Yakubi dips his head, Wunderkind unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Yakubi right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Yakubi falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Wunderkind smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Serj Wunderkind!
Serj Wunderkind gave a mention to Ganja's Warehouse (95% Laundering) in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
