Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomaz Emilianko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raiskari Raimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tomaz Emilianko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Raiskari Raimo! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raimo gets the takedown into side control. Emilianko manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Raimo tries to kick Emilianko off in order to stand up. Emilianko Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Raimo tries to buck Emilianko off but Emilianko is having none of it. Emilianko working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Emilianko will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Emilianko tries for a kimura but Raimo is defending well. Raimo is looking for a sweep. Raimo is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Emilianko's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Emilianko is working for a submission of some sort.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Raimo won't allow Emilianko to pass to mount. Raimo tries to roll over but Emilianko keeps him under control. Emilianko blocks the strikes from Raimo.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Emilianko tries to work over Raimo's front leg with a kick but Raimo checks it. Emilianko shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Raimo counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Emilianko is trying to get back to full guard. Emilianko looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Emilianko is breathing heavily. Emilianko wants to improve his position but Raimo is controlling well.

He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Raimo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Emilianko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Raimo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Emilianko does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Emilianko is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Raimo scores with a couple of nice shots. Emilianko moves into full guard.

Emilianko has momentary wrist control but Raimo slips an elbow through the middle. Raimo wants to pass the guard but Emilianko is keeping the position. Raimo is looking to work some ground and pound but Emilianko has wrist control. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Raimo wants to control from the top but Emilianko keeps moving. Raimo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Raimo is pushing down on Emilianko's leg trying to pass to half guard. Emilianko is fighting to maintain full guard but Raimo has managed to sneak the leg through. Emilianko is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Raimo pulls his head out easily. Ground and pound from Raimo. Raimo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Emilianko with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Raimo is tying to control. Emilianko wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Emilianko is pressing down on Raimo's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Raimo working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Emilianko utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Raimo makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Emilianko looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Raimo wants to pass the guard but Emilianko is keeping the position. Emilianko working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Raimo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Raimo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Emilianko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Raimo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Raimo is looking to work some ground and pound but Emilianko has wrist control. Raimo throws a sloppy strike and Emilianko has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Raimo is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Emilianko!
