Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Regis King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King's entrance music is Break ya neck. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Regis King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Cage! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. King looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Cage has one foot on King's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Cage closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming King to the mat! King manages to get full guard. Cage distracts King with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Cage's corner. There ya go! There ya go! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cage trying to control but King is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King has momentary wrist control but Cage slips an elbow through the middle. Cage cracks King with a solid left hand. Cage lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Cage working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of King's head. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Cage postures up and lands a big shot to King's brow. Cage scoring with punches to the head and body. Cage cracks King with a solid left hand. Cage gets to his feet - King follows without any prompting. Cage looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Cage is working King over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cage landing with the ground and pound. King keeping full guard, as Cage tries to pass. Cage slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Cage has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Cage postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Cage stands and steps away. King gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Cage closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cage lands in his opponent's guard. Cage with a flurry of punches that miss. Cage scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Cage controlling from the top position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cage postures up and lands a big shot to King's brow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cage keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of King's head. Cage makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Cage connects with a couple of short punches. Cage with a nice head shot there. Cage working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Cage scoring with punches to the head and body. Cage wants to control from the top but King keeps moving. King knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cage on the ground. Cage is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Cage stands up and waves to King to follow him. King checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cage shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. King manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Cage is working King over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Cage connects with a couple of short punches. Cage postures up in King's guard and throws a big left but King blocks it. Cage working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Cage postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Cage trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Cage landing some decent shots from guard. Cage with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Cage lands a couple of digs. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! King preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Cage wants to control from the top but King keeps moving. Cage pushing down on King's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cage working over King with some ground and pound. King looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Cage lands with a punch from half guard. Cage looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Cage looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks King with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Cage is taking a breather. King says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Nice strikes from Cage there.
King is rocked! Cage lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt King quite badly. King pulls Cage in close trying to recover. Cage postures up and lands two really hard shots that put King on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but King doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Cage! Our winner, Jack Cage, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
