And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex Jackson!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson avoids the head kick by Okoye.
Jackson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Okoye avoids it really well and circles away.

Okoye closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jackson did well to prevent Okoye getting side control.

Okoye has Jackson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Okoye pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jackson tumbling to the mat - Okoye dives into Jackson's guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Okoye decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Okoye wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jackson keeps working.

Okoye lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Jackson hang on?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Christian Okoye overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Okoye has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jackson is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Okoye yanks on the arm and Jackson is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Okoye.
