Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ethan Barry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Johnny Kramer!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kramer fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kramer shoots in looking for a takedown but Barry manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kramer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kramer fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ethan Barry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Kramer.
Barry keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Barry throws a leg kick but Kramer sees it coming and moves out of range.
Barry throws a nice inside leg kick.
A left and a right from Barry both land. Nice combination.
Barry throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kramer stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A nice leg kick lands there from Barry.
Barry scores with a nice body kick.
Kramer looks winded!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Barry, right into the meat.
Barry shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kramer eats them both and turns towards Barry to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Kramer takes a shot to the body in his stride.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Barry delivers a nice body kick.
Barry lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Barry lands a big head kick that sends Kramer tumbling to the mat! Barry takes a step backwards and waves Kramer back to his feet - he wants the finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barry throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kramer on the side of the head.
Kramer is rocked!
Kramer walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Kramer limp body while Barry jumps on to the ropes and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ethan Barry!
A very excited looking Ethan Barry made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
