Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aldous Huxley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Sandoval (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huxley comes into the arena with Heatbeats blaring out of the sound system. Sandoval is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Overseer - Slayed. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aldous Huxley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Felix Sandoval! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and John Roberts.

Huxley fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sandoval, pushing him back against the cage.

Huxley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sandoval throws a good cross that connects.
Huxley throws a series of strikes that have Sandoval backpedaling.
Nice straight punches there by Huxley. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Huxley. Sandoval tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Huxley was well out of range. Poor timing from Sandoval. Huxley fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sandoval connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Huxley's hands. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sandoval takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Huxley moves in looking to clinch but Sandoval pushes him off. Sandoval avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Huxley shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. A leg kick checked by Huxley. A telegraphed right hand from Huxley misses the target. Sandoval misses with a wild body shot. The fight stays on the outside here - Huxley looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Aldous Huxley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Huxley misses the jab.

and Sandoval decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Huxley's guard.
Sandoval drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sandoval jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Huxley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sandoval on the ground. Sandoval throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Sandoval lands a couple of digs. Sandoval trying to control but Huxley is working from the bottom. Sandoval chips away with some ground and pound. Sandoval trying to control but Huxley is working from the bottom. Sandoval forces his way into half guard. Huxley avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sandoval. Huxley is looking to control Sandoval's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Huxley avoid being mounted? Sandoval is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Sandoval is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Huxley has managed to free his arm - good work. Huxley on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Huxley tries to get out of the position. Huxley keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sandoval missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sandoval cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sandoval dominating with strikes here. Sandoval landing punches. Sandoval scoring with strikes but Huxley is staying in there.

Huxley is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Huxley tries to hold on but Sandoval pushes him away. Oh Huxley is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Sandoval breaks from Huxley's wrist control and lands an elbow. Huxley is in a horrible position here. Sandoval smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Sandoval wants to control the pace but Huxley is squirming around nicely.

Huxley seems to have got his legs back now. Sandoval working Huxley over with strikes here. Sandoval landing punches. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Huxley is working to get back to half guard.
Sandoval raining down shots from the mount! The referee warns Huxley that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Huxley wants to control but Sandoval is having none of it. Huxley is squirming around, avoiding Sandoval's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Felix Sandoval dominated that round. That's time! Huxley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sandoval circles away from the clinch attempt and Sandoval counters with a stiff right hand. Huxley misses with an uppercut. Sandoval saw that one coming. Huxley is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Sandoval misses with a body kick. Huxley tries to clinch up but Sandoval circles away and keeps his distance. Huxley takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Sandoval with good strikes from the mount here! Sandoval has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Sandoval is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Huxley is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Huxley flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Sandoval anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Huxley and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Sandoval slips an arm under Huxley chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Sandoval has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Sandoval is squeezing on Huxley like an anaconda would it's prey. Huxley fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Felix Sandoval! A determined Felix Sandoval didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
