Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lewis Hicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Pellum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lewis Hicks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Marcus Pellum! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pellum is looking to clinch but Hicks is avoiding it.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Hicks enables Pellum to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hicks manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Hicks is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Hicks isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Pellum stacks Hicks on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Pellum! Pellum trying to control the position but Hicks is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hicks is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Pellum off and has taken his back! Hicks is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Pellum knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Pellum for a finish. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hicks is trying to stick to Pellum's back but Pellum is turning into Hicks. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Hicks's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Pellum. Hicks is looking for a triangle but Pellum pushes his legs off easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hicks keeping moving, preventing Pellum from controlling successfully. Pellum wanted to stand there but Hicks had control of the position. Hicks has momentary wrist control but Pellum slips an elbow through the middle. Hicks pushes a forearm under Pellum's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Pellum is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
