Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jim Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tokugawa Kazunari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Storm comes to the cage accompanied by ThunderStruck. Kazunari has chosen The Seeker as his entrance music. Tokugawa Kazunari acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Storm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tokugawa Kazunari! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Storm takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Storm fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kazunari cracks Storm with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Storm takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Kazunari swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Storm. Kazunari moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Kazunari throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Storm stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kazunari swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Storm. Crunch! Kazunari slams his shin into Storm's torso. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Storm crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kazunari - the referee stops the clock and Storm gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kazunari. Storm manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Kazunari lands with a thumping leg kick.
Storm tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kazunari swivels and escapes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kazunari leaves Storm with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Storm. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kazunari keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Storm shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kazunari counters with a straight right hand. Kazunari stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Storm fails to land the takedown. Kazunari connects with a leg kick. Storm looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Storm gets caught napping as Kazunari dives in and scores a takedown. Storm manages to retain guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Kazunari stands up over Storm, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Storm is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kazunari defends well. Kazunari trying to control the position from guard on top but Storm is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kazunari forces his way into half guard. Kazunari scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kazunari trying to control the action but Storm is working from the bottom. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ground and pound from Kazunari. Kazunari is looking for a kimura here.
Storm actively working from the bottom here. Storm is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Storm has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Kazunari escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Kazunari! Storm is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kazunari's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Storm looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kazunari has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Ground and pound from Kazunari. Storm is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kazunari pulls his head out easily. Kazunari wants to take a breather but Storm is having none of it. Kazunari passes the guard and advances to mount! Storm keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
BOOM! Kazunari connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Storm is trying to escape the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kazunari is in the full mount, landing strikes. Kazunari has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Storm's face.
Kazunari dominating with strikes here. Storm is looking to get to half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kazunari lands a big shot there that rocks Storm but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kazunari scoring with strikes but Storm is staying in there. Kazunari prevents Storm from getting the reversal. Kazunari postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Storm looks a forlorn figure.
Storm is rocked! Kazunari looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Storm covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tokugawa Kazunari! After winning the bout, Tokugawa Kazunari thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
